We believe that everything we consume should be organic. Even weed.

About us

At Legacy High Valley Farms, we are committed to sustainability at every level: from the health of the soil beneath our plants, to the wellbeing of the land that we steward. We're proud to stand among a small number of California cannabis farms growing fully OCal certified organic and sustainable, entirely outdoors, on a single hillside estate. We believe good farming is good stewardship, and we intend to leave this land better than we found it. For this harvest, and for every one after it.

The land

Our estate sits across four hillside blocks, each planted directly into native soil. No raised beds, no imported mix, no shortcuts. Elevation and sun exposure shift block to block, creating distinct microclimates across a single property, which is part of why plants grown a few hundred feet apart can express so differently.

Unique terroir

We grew wine grapes first, so we understand terroir: one hillside's fruit taste different from another's just a mile away. It's not the vine, it's the land. We farm our cannabis the same way. Our four blocks step down a single hillside at different elevations and sun exposures, each one drawing from the same native soil but shaped by its own microclimate. The angle of the light, the drainage of the slope, the way morning fog sits in the lower blocks longer than it does higher up. Nothing here is grown in a lab, and nothing here is engineered to taste the same in every plant. That variation isn't a flaw to correct, it's the whole point!

Our farming practices

Every plant we grow finishes its full natural cycle outdoors, under real sun, over a full season. Our farming practices are OCal certified organic, meaning every input and pest-management method on the property meets California's organic standard for cannabis.
